I need to stop lying to myself. No more telling myself I am buying the ____ (insert junkie snack of your choice here) for the kids. The truth is... If I buy it, I will eat it.
I may not eat all of it, but I will do my best to eat my fair share of it. It doesn't matter that I'm not crazy about the spicy chips or the sour gummy worms, etc, etc. If I buy them, and they are sitting there, and I'm looking for a snack, I still manage to eat them. Yes children, your mother has no will power. There I said it. I've taken the first step. Right?! So my dear children, as the stash of junk is depleted it will not be replaced. I am sorry, but it is for your own good. OK, my own good too!
