My baby girl left xmas night to head to South Carolina for a week long vacation with her best friend. I was nervous about sending her. Ok, truth be told I didn't want to let her go. I absolutely didn't want to let her go. Momma reasons, you understand don't you? Baby girl, not just out of sight, but out of the state. We aren't just talking sleep over we are talking a week. No way to bail out or change your mind when you are a 8-10 hour car drive away. But good old dad said she could go if she wanted to. And since she didn't really know what she wanted for xmas it could be her xmas present. We'd give her cash for her travels and buy her some warm clothes, etc. You know things that you really don't need when it's almost always a balmy 80 degrees.
Anyway they left at 8:30 this morning to start the drive home. She should be home around dinner time or so. Depending on how many stops they make and what kind of traffic they hit. Can't wait to see her and hug her and hear all about her trip. She sent me the above pic of her and BFF from SC.
