First: Measure 7/16 of an inch in from each edge of your paper and mark the intersection of the two lines.
Second: Turn your punch (over) upside down and line up your mark with one of the holes on the punch. To get rounded corners make sure a scallop-hole falls at the intersection you marked and then punch. (found this trick online - but don't know where)
